About the Journal

It is notable that all the papers and articles should be about the Holy Qur'an, such as the history of the Qur’an, ulum al-Qur’an, and exegesis of the Qur’an. They can be related to different Quranic subjects by contemporary thinkers.

Contemporary Quranic studies are not necessarily dedicated to the examination of the Orientalists’ point of view, and the main focus of the articles may not be essentially personality-oriented.

The submitted articles must have the following characteristics:

A- Hypothesis and reasoning.

B- Innovation and up-to-datedness of the subject.

C- Tracking and using multiple original and new sources.

D- Complying with the writing style and editorial rules.

The Quran: Contemporary Studies Quarterly, published by Al-Mustafa International University/Quran and Hadith Higher Education Complex, invites researchers to write scholarly articles in the following areas:

1. Sharing new methodologies, approaches, and exegeses of the Quran.

2. Conveying specific content related to the Ahl al-Bayt, including Mahdism, guardianship (wilāyat), and the relationship between religion and the Quran.

3. Addressing emerging challenges related to the Quran, adapted for Western audiences.

4. Introducing important Shiite Quranic figures.

5. Critiquing Orientalist content in the Quranic field.

6. Examining new topics in Quranic sciences, exegetical theories, and Quranic teachings.

7. Exploring interdisciplinary topics that connect the Quran with various fields of study.

8. Examining comparative discussions of the Quran and the Bible.

9. Examining significant contemporary Quranic topics such as lifestyle, family, women, religious extremism, moral deviations, civilization, liberalism, imperialism, the end times, and the Islamic revolution.

10. Introducing the miraculous nature of the Quran.
