As a central concern and a key directive of the Supreme Leader, human resource productivity has been extensively emphasized in his statements and guidelines. Given that the strength of the economy and national macro-management relies on the optimal utilization of existing capacities and the adoption of long-term strategies to enhance organizational and human resource productivity, Imam Khamenei has consistently highlighted this issue in annual slogans [e.g., “Rawnaq-i Tawlīd” (Production Boom), “Iqtiṣād-i Muqāvimatī” (Economy of Resistance), and “Rushd-i Tawlīd” (Production Growth)]. The present study, utilizing library resources, specialized software, and cyberspace, employs content analysis and interpretive methods to explore the components of human resource efficiency in the Quranic thought of Imam Khamenei. The findings indicate that, based on divine revelation, Imam Khamenei identifies components such as faith and trust in God, preserving employee dignity, competent leadership, enhancing job motivation, fostering competitiveness, improving physical and mental well-being, education and institutionalizing a monotheistic culture, expertise and commitment, experience, and attention to creativity and innovation as key factors in enhancing human resource efficiency. The study concludes that the growth and development of organizations and Islamic societies are closely tied to the level of human resource efficiency. Achieving this requires systematic adherence to the identified components and their precise implementation at various organizational and societal levels. Thus, prioritizing these factors enhances organizational efficiency and effectiveness and paves the way for the progress and elevation of Islamic societies across multiple dimensions .

The concept of women’s empowerment, prevalent in global discourses and development programs, is rooted in feminist economics and liberal-secular approaches. These approaches, which assume universality, face challenges in Islamic societies due to differing foundational beliefs. This research aims to elucidate the Islamic foundations of women’s empowerment based on the Quran and hadith, comparing them with competing frameworks. Data were collected through library studies of the Holy Quran and authentic hadith sources, analyzed using thematic analysis in three coding stages. The findings reveal that Islamic foundations of women’s empowerment consist of three overarching themes: ontological, anthropological, and axiological. Among the ontological foundations, the organizing theme of “the fundamental nature of woman’s creation” contrasts with theological interpretations of sacred texts and supports women’s attainment of their true human status. The theme of “the purposeful creation of women” challenges demeaning views that regard women as secondary or inferior. The anthropological foundations highlight “equal will and freedom of choice” for both genders and “equality in the purpose of creation,” affirming the Quranic justice-seeking perspective on women’s empowerment. The integration of these themes with “natural sexual differences” constrains the conceptual scope of women’s empowerment, emphasizing legal distinctions rooted in nature and prioritizing family interests over individual ones. Lastly, the axiological themes affirm the equality of men and women in dignity while emphasizing feminine and maternal roles, which are often neglected in other perspectives.

One of the fundamental challenges in the realm of governance and societal management is the phenomenon of arrogance (istikbār), which serves as a root cause of numerous ethical and social crises. Arrogance, defined as self-aggrandizement and perceiving oneself as superior to others, is strongly condemned in Islamic revelatory texts, particularly the Holy Quran and the hadiths of the Ahl al-Bayt (a), where it is identified as a primary source of individual and societal deviations. This study aims to elucidate the principles and strategies for confronting arrogance within the framework of Islamic governance. Employing an analytical-descriptive methodology and drawing on library-based resources, the research examines Quranic verses and hadiths. The findings indicate that Islamic teachings advocate principles such as forbearance, guidance, dialogue, logical reasoning, adherence to human ethics, and, when necessary, firmness and rejection of compromise to counter the phenomenon of arrogance. The conduct of the Prophets (a) and the Imams (a) demonstrates that even when facing arrogant powers, upholding ethical and human principles and striving for their guidance and reform remain paramount. However, in the face of fundamental threats to religion and society, the principle of resoluteness and steadfastness is emphasized. Accordingly, the principles derived from the Quran and hadiths can serve as a model for Islamic governance to address arrogant and domineering currents at both domestic and international levels.
</Abstract>

The Battle of Uḥud, as one of the pivotal events in Islamic history, provides a valuable opportunity to examine the principles of planning and management as articulated in the Quran. This study seeks to address the question of how the managerial teachings of the Holy Quran, as manifested in the Battle of Uḥud, can contribute to strategic management and crisis management in the contemporary world. The research analyzes the strategies and tactics employed in the Battle of Uḥud from a Quranic viewpoint and explores their applications in modern management. Adopting an exegetical-analytical approach and drawing upon the thematic exegetical method (istinṭāqī) of Martyr Ṣadr, the relevant verses pertaining to the Battle of Uḥud are examined as a rich case study of managerial lessons. Key principles such as consultation, adherence to leadership, and the maintenance of unity among Muslims are emphasized. The findings of this study indicate that the Quran not only offers profound spiritual and ethical guidance but also holds practical applicability in strategic planning and contemporary crisis management. By focusing on social and organizational interactions, this research introduces a Quranic management model grounded in monotheistic principles, which fosters cohesion and coordination in collective actions and effective decision-making. The results suggest that Quranic managerial principles can serve as a paradigm for modern organizations and societies confronting complex challenges and global variables. This paradigm is capable of enhancing social cohesion, generating innovative solutions, and facilitating sustainable and holistic development.

This study explores the transformative potential of the Noble Quran as a scientific authority in reshaping the science of education and pedagogy. Employing a descriptive, analytical, and critical methodology, it examines the Quran’s unique attributes—systematicity, comprehensiveness, trans-historicity, and inerrancy—as foundational for scientific advancement. The research highlights how Quranic epistemological, ontological, anthropological, and axiological foundations, coupled with its sublime objectives, such as proximity to God, provide a robust framework for educational transformation. By establishing principles like convergence, conformity with Islam, and gradualism, the Quran fosters sustainable and meaningful pedagogical development. The findings underscore that reliance on the Quran’s scientific authority enables profound transformations in education, surpassing secular frameworks that lack its distinctive qualities. This study affirms the Quran’s capacity to elevate sciences, particularly education, by offering a holistic and infallible guide for knowledge production and human development.

Following the triumph of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the concept of lifestyle has assumed paramount importance, particularly through the Supreme Leader’s recurrent emphasis on revitalizing Islamic lifestyle while countering Western paradigms. This study investigates the underlying causes and mechanisms facilitating the dissemination of Western culture—rooted in consumerism, hedonism, individualism, luxury-seeking, and capitalism—and its deleterious effects on Islamic lifestyle in Iran. Drawing upon the Supreme Leader’s statements and Quranic verses, the research employs a descriptive, library-based methodology to analyze these dynamics. Findings reveal that Western lifestyle, propagated via cultural instruments (e.g., cinema, music, toys), mass media (e.g., television, literature), and communication technologies (e.g., internet, social networks), constitutes a form of cultural invasion antithetical to Islamic principles, eroding religious values, familial bonds, and national identity. This infiltration fosters moral decline, social fragmentation, and psychological insecurity, undermining the Quranic ideal of “ḥayāt ṭayyibah” (a good life) predicated on faith and righteous deeds. The study advocates for comprehensive strategies, including cultural fortification, media regulation, and adherence to indigenous Islamic wisdom, to safeguard Iran’s socio-cultural integrity and advance a new Islamic civilization.
 <OtherAbstract Language="FA">Following the triumph of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the concept of lifestyle has assumed paramount importance, particularly through the Supreme Leader’s recurrent emphasis on revitalizing Islamic lifestyle while countering Western paradigms.
Ayatullah Muḥammad Hādī Maʿrifat’s Naqd-i Shubuhāt pīrāmūn-i Qur’ān-i Karīm (Critique of Doubts about the Holy Quran) provides a comprehensive defense of the Quran’s divine authenticity and addresses various scholarly doubts regarding its content, cultural context, and apparent contradictions. The book is structured across five chapters, systematically tackling theological, cultural, textual, scientific, historical, and literary objections. The first chapter contrasts the Quran’s reverential portrayal of prophets (a) with their often derogatory depictions in the Torah, while refuting doubts surrounding specific Quranic narratives, such as Noah’s flood and Jesus’s crucifixion. The second chapter argues that the Quran transcends the cultural influences of its time, emphasizing its universal applicability and realistic teachings, particularly in addressing gender-related issues and slavery. The third chapter resolves perceived contradictions in Quranic verses by analyzing linguistic and contextual nuances. The fourth chapter defends the Quran’s consistency with scientific, historical, and literary realities, while the fifth underscores the realism and moral purpose of Quranic stories, countering claims of their allegorical or folkloric nature. Ayatullah Maʿrifat’s rigorous analysis, grounded in Quranic exegesis and comparative theology, offers valuable insights for scholars of Islamic studies and comparative religion, affirming the Quran’s divine integrity and universal significance.
